  • Upgrade. The eGems version 2.6 available today is planned to be upgraded and replaced by version 3.0. With this new web-oriented eGems version, users will be able to:
    • save the content of their local eGems database into their own personal web space.
    • access this content using any web brower at any time from anywhere.
    • share relevant eGems content with other web users.
  • eGems in Australia - Mindshifts Matters The Australian newsletter of the Mindshift Group Pty Ltd, Sydney - Australia (61-2) 9411 3900 is celebrating the virtues of eGems, in a front-page article of its February 2007 Newsletter, Making it easy.
  • Pearson Education has awarded eGems with a new order of 15000 CD-ROMS bearing its own logo, to be offered with books that it publishes, to be sold in US bookstores.
  • Initiatives: two enthusiastic users of eGems Collector Pro founded a user group and become canvassers of our software. Susan Kerstein, professor at the University of Chicago prompts her students to use eGems and successfully negotiates special rates for them at ALogic Inc. Isabelle Lecomte, Principal Research Geophysicist at NORSAR, Norway has been using eGems for many years and now wants to develop the creation of common eGems databases for all researchers in her laboratory, to save research time and avoid document duplication.
  • The winner of the 2007 4th quarter : A random choice has elected a eGems new user, winner of the month. Ms Linda Carter.
